Coronavirus update 19/7/2021

With the restrictions easing, I would like to update you with the situation here at Chris Tinsley Estate Agents. We are proposing to open the office to our clients and the public but we are restricting the number of visitors to a maximum of two at an on time.

With Covid cases rising in our area we would ask that all visitors to our office continue to wear a face covering and use the hand sanitiser provided.

Team Tinsley are busier than ever, this week Rightmove confirmed that this current housing market is the busiest in a decade!!

If you’ve been waiting to see what happens in the market, then now is the time to take advantage. We understand that we’ve been facing really uncertain times and it can be difficult to know when to make that move. But looking at Rightmove’s reports we can see that the level of demand is around 34% higher than this time last year and, this time last year we were having record-breaking levels of interest!!

What has caused this shift in the market?

This huge shift can be attributed to many things, like a demand for more space, or a home office, or even just a change of scenery/ lifestyle. According to Rightmove, the demand for properties is far higher than the number of properties on the market.

That means, this is one of the best sellers’ markets of the decade- and one of the best spring periods to sell.

Rightmove also reported an average of SEVEN MILLION visits to the site daily in February! Now really is the time to market your property to benefit from this huge demand.

We are approaching what is traditionally the busiest time of year for the property market and couple that with the extension of the stamp duty holiday and the government guaranteed 95% mortgages and we’re set to see some new records! Sellers should seriously consider marketing their property as soon as possible to really take advantage of this demand, and the stamp duty holiday for their onward purchase!
